The CTMCCV provides the following training actions :

  • Inter- and intra-company training.
  • Specific or personalized training requested by companies.
  • Internships granted for the benefit of :

         – Companies in the sector.

         – Students of university institutions.

The CTMCCV manages and monitors the various national research programs and more particularly the PNRIs.

The main objective is to promote the results of research and transpose them to as many companies as possible in the IMCCV sector.

The Center works in close collaboration with the research structures of university institutes and industrial companies to strengthen research and innovation activity within companies and increase the number of applied research projects.

The CTMCCV has a variety of test benches and various materials and equipment, placed at the service of its various technical laboratories, making it possible to carry out a wide range of tests according to national and international standards on building materials, ceramics and glass.

The Center has seven (07) test laboratories, namely:

  • Concrete & Binders Laboratory: This laboratory performs physical characterization tests for the following products: building lime, Plaster, Mortar of mineral coatings, Aggregates, “Pavers and curb” concrete products, Cement glue, Grouting mortar, Natural stones , Cement tiles and Red products.
  • Ceramics Laboratory : This laboratory performs physico-chemical characterization tests on raw materials used in the branches, as well as tests on finished products, namely: ceramic tiles, tableware, sanitary ware.
  • Metrology Laboratory : This laboratory ensures the calibration of measurement and control equipment. It is accredited for the quantities: force, mass, pressure and weight.
  • Thermal and Energetics Laboratory for Buildings (LATEB) : This laboratory provides performance, durability and reliability tests for solar thermal collectors, solar thermal systems, photovoltaic panels, as well as thermal conductivity for insulation materials.
  • Glass Laboratory: This laboratory performs mechanical tests on automotive glazing.
  • Reaction to Fire Laboratory : This laboratory performs characterization tests on building materials and related products in terms of reaction to fire in order to achieve a “EUROCLASSE” classification.
  • Cement Laboratory : This laboratory performs physical, mechanical and chemical tests on cement.

This laboratory ensures the calibration of measurement and control equipment. It has the necessary assets to assist companies to better manage measuring, control and test instrument fleets in order to comply with the requirements of quality management standards (ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025, IATF 16949, …).

This laboratory is TUNAC accredited according to the ISO/IEC 17025 standard for the following quantities:

  • Mass: Calibration and verification of masses from 1 mg to 20 kg, from class E2.
  • Weighing: Calibration of weighing instruments.
  • Strength: Verification of traction and compression testing machines, from class 0.5 and up to 2000 kN
  • Pressure: Calibration of pressure measurement equipment, from 0 bar to 160 bar for pneumatic pressure and from 0 bar to 800 bar for hydraulic pressure.
